Some places you don't come back from the same. I was drawn to Wadi Rum and Petra and spent 5 days trying to capture what makes them so hard to leave – the mystical weight of ancient rock, colours that shift with every hour of light, and silence that feels like it means something. I hiked into areas seen by very few, chasing the grandiose and the intimate in equal measure. Some of these photographs have been published by Condé Nast.
